Ferries and island fun

Sunday morning we woke up and drove to Vancouver to catch a ferry. We drove our car onto a ferry, (very cool) and us and the car floated for 1 1/2 hours to Victoria island. We drove around this big island where they farm and live and play.
We visited a beautiful garden that used to be a limestone quarry. When they ran out of limestone and her husband died the wife made it into a beautiful garden. It's called the Buchart Gardens.

There were lots of roses too.

Here's a picture of us leaving the mainland. Here's what our ferry looks like. This one passed us on the water. It was cool and breezy so sometime we were inside and sometimes outside.

We missed the ferry back so we had to wait for a long time in line. We left Canada for Seattle. We enjoyed our foreign neighbors to the north.

I love you all. Mom
