Law and Order?

Good morning. I spent yesterday afternoon in a court room in St. Johns. There's some issues with the guy that bought grandma's house and the Slade's water ditch. It was boring as heck and the Slades are still better than us all. Anyway, after hours of mind numbing discussion on water rights from the 1800's I told the lawyer that this was no Law and Order. She laughed and said it rarely was.
I got up early and took down the trash. It's beautiful today. Dad mowed the lawn yesterday and it even looks a little green. There's no wind early in the morning and the horses in the field have a peaceful look. I've been questioning why I live here and this morning I remembered.
